Six Red Raiders sign letters of intent
Six Kahuku seniors signed letters of intent this morning: Sharae Niu, UH Hilo, Volleyball; Carey Williams, University of Portland, Volleyball; Cameron Renaud, University of Redlands, Football; Puao Sao, Winthrop University, Volleyball; Cheyenne Te’o, Notre Dame de Namur, Volleyball; Bradina Anae, BYU, Track and Field. Volleyball standout setter ShaRae Niu was one of six Kahuku seniors who signed their letters of intent on Wednesday.
Niu signed with Hawaii-Hilo. Teammate Carey Williams signed with the University of Portland. Cheyenne Te’o signed with Notre Dame de Namur.
Williams and Niu finished back-to-back in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser Fab. 15 this past season with Williams at No. 10 and Niu one spot behind.
Puao Sao penned her signature for Winthrop University with track and field standout Bradina Anae signing with BYU.
Football player Cameron Renaud signed his letter to the University of Redlands.
Renaud was the backup quarterback to freshman Sol-Jay Maiava this past season and threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for another two scores.
