Kahuku (HI) three-star linebacker Miki Ah You landed another big Pac-12 offer on Thursday...

Miki Ah You - 2017 Junior year Highlights

Miki Ah You has been as consistently good as any player out West in the 2019 class this offseason, turning in great performance after great performance and that upward trajectory has carried over to the recruiting side of things as well.

The three-star linebacker from Kahuku, Hawaii, landed his latest offer from Washington on Thursday, just days after his stellar showing at the adidas 7v7 national championships in Los Angeles last weekend. He was also a standout at the Pylon Elites 7v7 championships in Las Vegas and The Opening Regional in the Bay Area a few weeks back.

Offers from the likes of Dartmouth, Princeton and Yale have arrived in recent weeks, but the one from the Huskies carried a bit more significance for the 6-foot-1, 195-pound tackling machine.

"It's exciting," Ah You told 247Sports. "This offer means a lot. It’s a great school that I could see myself fitting in at. I couldn’t believe I got the call, I was thinking that I was going to have to go up and prove myself some more this summer [at the Rising Stars Camp], so this is great.

"I’m still looking to visit Seattle because I was excited to be there in the first place. I'm excited, man."

Ah You, whose two other Pac-12 offers are from Oregon and Oregon State, said his conversation with assistant coach Bob Gregory went very well and he's looking forward to continuing to build a relationship with him and the rest of the coaching staff.

"Coach Gregory was just talking about how, first of all, I am a great student racking up the Ivy League offers, but also my mind and talent on the field," Ah You said. "He found out from my head coach that I have had three different defensive coordinators in my three years of high school football and I was the man on the field making calls and adjusted the defense, which he liked a lot.

"I believe they want me fitting in at the middle linebacker spot, but we will talk some more later on."

Ah You was the emotional leader of a passionate and tireless Team 808 at the adidas tournament last weekend. He flashed a relentless motor, physicality and instincts, and the athleticism to run and cover at a high level. He is the nation's No. 100 outside linebacker according to the 247Sports Composite and stacks up at No. 12 overall in Hawaii for the 2019 class.

Ah You has visited California and Stanford this year and plans to camp with a few programs this summer.
