HONOLULU -- The first two days of Polynesian Bowl practices have pitted some of the best high school prospects in the country against each other. One of the local products, Kahuku (Hawaii) four-star offensive guard Enokk Vimahi, is one of the uncommitted players that the Trojans are hoping for a commitment from.

The original plan was for Vimahi to declare Saturday night in Aloha Stadium during the Poly Bowl, but that plan has now changed. On Monday Vimahi announced that he would be pushing back his commitment until National Signing Day in February.

247Sports recruiting analyst Blair Angulo wrote this about Vimahi's decision: "Kahuku (Hawaii) four-star offensive lineman Enokk Vimahi, one of the top un-signed prospects in the country, has backed off his plan to reveal his destination Saturday night during the game and will instead wait until national signing day. Fresh off an official visit to Oklahoma, the 6-foot-5, 280-pound prospect took his third trip of the recruiting process to Norman this past weekend and told 247Sports on Monday that the Sooners did a tremendous job hosting him. USC holds 11 of the 12 Crystal Ball votes, but Ohio State is also firmly in the mix, having offered recently, and is scheduled to draw a visit on Jan. 25. Oklahoma is surging in the race."

So Trojan fans will have to wait a while before finding out which school Vimahi will choose.

The 6-foot-4 and 280-pound Vimahi is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is the country’s No. 132 overall prospect, the No. 8 offensive guard, and the No. 2 prospect in Hawaii. Vimahi also played in the All-American Bowl in San Antonio on Jan. 5.

After watching him in person the past couple of days Vimahi has a great frame, but he certainly looks lighter than most of his counterparts.

In the above video you can see isolation highlights of Vimahi going through some of the offensive line drills, one-on-one reps and playing left tackle in some full team drills.
