Hau'oli Kikaha is unanimous All-America selection

It's official: Huskies linebacker Hau'oli Kikaha is UW's first unanimous All-America selection since safety Lawyer Milloy in 1995, and just the fifth unanimous selection in UW history.

To become a unanimous All-American, a player must be named first-team by the following five outlets: Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, American Football Coaches Association, The Sporting News, and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Any player named first-team by at least three of those outlets can claim the "consensus" All-America tag, which Kikaha had already achieved.

Kikaha made the first four, and the FWAA announced a few minutes ago via Sirius XM College Sports Nation that the fifth-year senior has been selected to its first-team, too.

Danny Shelton, who was named first-team All-America by AP and The Sporting News, just missed out on consensus honors.

Here are UW's unanimous All-Americans:

1982 -- Chuck Nelson, K

1991 -- Steve Emtman, DE

1992 -- Lincoln Kennedy, OL

1995 -- Lawyer Milloy, DB

2014 -- Hau'oli Kikaha, OLB
