Kahuku has a chance to force another three-and-out but Red Raiders jump offsides on third-and-2 and give up a cheap first down. Kaniho with a nice pass breakup on the next third down and Bingham will punt with 3 minutes to go.

Kahuku starts on its 38. Alapa just throws one up deep and Nawahine comes down with the catch. 36 yards on the play. Biggest play of the night for Kahuku. Alapa then hits Crismon for 12 yards and it’s first-and-10 at the Bingham 12. Alapa finds Crismon for 8 yards to the 4 and it’s fourth-and-2. Kahuku gets the ball first to start the second half. Red Raiders start on their 22. Lots of confusion on offense for Kahuku as a delay of game penalty is called and then a weird looking pass play resulting in a loss of 1. Third-and-18. Incomplete. Alapa now 1-for-7 for 5 yards.

Bingham sort of out-Kahukuing Kahuku in this one. Dominating the time of possession. 81 rushing yards on 27 carries. Kahuku giving up just 3 yards a pop but it’s been enough to move the chains as Wood has sprinkled in a few nice passes. Kahuku not having Maiava available has been huge in this one.

Wood scrambles out of the pocket and steps out right at the 5 for a first down. Wood on the QB keeper for a 3-yard TD run. 7-0 Bingham.

OH MY GOODNESS. JL Lavea with an absolute katoosh of the punt returner. Holy smokes. Legal hit. Lavea came in full speed and CRUSHED the returner.

Kahuku will start at its own 13. Thorton Alapa at QB for Kahuku. They come out passing and the throw out wide is a little high. Enoch Nawahine starts at RB and runs for 2 yards. Alapa scrambles for 6 yards on third down but is short. Kahuku three-and-out.

Kahuku will kick off. Miners start on their 29. Miners run it four straight times. Miki Ah You with a huge hit on the RB for a tackle for loss and then Nalu Emerson drops a pick-six.
