Kona Schwenke: Gone WAY too soon!
I remember Kona running around church as a young boy in Hau'ula from 2001 thru 2003. Then after moving back home from the mainland it was a pleasure to watch him play leading up to Kahuku's appearance in the 2009 State Championship game.
Notre Dame was just a dream to a Red Raider . . . Kona lived that dream while allowing many of us to go along for the ride.
I still don't know what is the cause of death but it doesn't matter . . . he's just gone WAY too soon!
