UNPLUGGED: @enokkvimahi and Pola-Mao at the #PolyBowl2k19
Two of USC’s top uncommitted targets are players the Trojans need to add depth on the defensive and offenisve line.
OL Enokk Vimahi and DT Matthew Pola-Mao are both blessed to be playing their final high school football game here in Hawaii at the 2019 Poly Bowl.
Vimahi is a versatile OL who can play guard or tackle. Pola-Mao is a big and strong player who can play nose tackle.
USC has been recruiting Vimahi vigorously since early in the recruiting process, but the Trojans, specifically Clay Helton, have gone all in with Pola-Mao later in the process. In fact, USC’s recent pursuit will lead to an official visit for him. He doesn’t have a date for that visit yet.
Last week Vimahi took an official visit to Oklahoma after taking previous trips to USC and Notre Dame. He’ll take another official visit to Ohio State on Jan. 25. We’re guessing that’s why he delayed announcing his commitment Jan. 19 at the Poly Bowl.
TrojanInsider.com had some fun Monday night with Pola-Mao and Vimahi and while we were at it, Oklahoma commits OT Stacey Wilkins and DB Jeremiah Criddell joined us.
Pola-Mao and Vimahi, who both could sign with USC on Feb. 6, talked about their interest in the Trojans, what’s left with recruiting and more.
