Kahuku girls and boys ruggers seek for their respective National Championship on the same weekend
Meet our lovely young ladies above who are trying to help Kahuku Girls Rugby repeat as National Invitational Tournament Champions.
In what seems to be an unprecedented endeavor, the Kahuku Rugby Club ruggers are seeking to seize their respective national championship on the same weekend. In fact they'll be playing only 15 miles apart in Salt Lake City, Utah. The girls will be playing @ the Salt Lake County Rugby Fields while the boys will be playing down the road @ the Utah Regional Athletic Complex. The ladies are seeking to repeat as National Invitational Tournament Champion.

Our boys, on the other hand, have been dominant in Hawaii and have fared very well when they have traveled to the mainland and internationally. However, they have never had the opportunity to compete in the National Championships. What a prime opportunity for them to make history along with their female counterparts. Would be awesome to have some great alumni support like only we can even though it'll be split between 2 venues.
No matter the outcome I know these young people will represent our community well! A couple of National Championships would just be gravy! So here we Go Big Red. And though they are not sponsored by Kahuku High School they remain as ever the Pride of the North Shore!
